Good Friends and Great Food: Chef John Hall’s Memorial Day Takeover at Restaurant Finistere

This coming holiday weekend, Restaurant Finistere will join forces with an old friend, Chef John Hall, to serve a sensational Memorial Day menu. Finistere’s very own Chef Deborah worked with Hall at Per Se, and they are thrilled to work together in the same kitchen once again.

Chef John Hall has a lengthy resume that was earned from his years working with Michelin-starred chefs and reputable establishments in New York, Europe, and beyond. In 2014, he opened his own pizzeria, Post Office Pies, in an old post office in Birmingham, Alabama. He recently moved out west to Portland, Oregon to focus on family. Hall aims to blend his Southern roots with the freshest ingredients of the Pacific Northwest to create a unique culinary experience.
